And that is exactly what we are consciously preparing for. During this time we learn to forego familiar behavior patterns and be open to new experiences. We are suddenly bringing the entire application process into our home! In addition to the advantage of not missing the postman ringing, the candidates are also in familiar surroundings, which has a positive effect on their appearance in the interview. There is not much left of the widespread nervousness and excitement in job interviews in online interviews – our experience shows that applicants appear more concentrated and relaxed.
The remote recruiting process at e-dialog
Our future colleagues are given a task that fits the open position in advance, which they work on until the interview. In the video conference, we then design the interview as a professional exchange discussion in which, among other things, we pay attention to the candidates’ approach, embed examples from our everyday professional life and address different questions together. In addition to the main decision maker, we often also invite an additional person from our specialist areas. In this way, we want to offer even more exchange of experiences in conversation and further insights into our company.
