Intro

For Möbelix, e-dialog developed Facebook campaigns with dynamic ad optimization. The ideal combination for each individual user was created using an intelligent algorithm through automated matching of audience targeting and creatives.

Through the Facebook campaign implemented by e-dialog, we were able to increase the relevance of our advertising materials and target the audiences relevant to us. This was also reflected in a doubling of purchases and a 20% increase in reach.

Measures

Data-driven optimization of the Facebook campaign was made possible by matching targeting and advertising materials. Decisions were made based on actual performance rather than prior assumptions or gut feelings.

Through the automatic creation of combinations, significantly more advertising materials could be used and delivered in an individualized manner depending on the target group. The relevance of the ads was increased while simultaneously reducing the time required for campaign setup.

Results

To evaluate success, an A/B test was used to compare the dynamic optimized ads delivered on desktop against static ads. During the runtime, twice as many purchases were achieved with dynamic ad optimization.

Furthermore, the CPM was approximately one-third lower than that of the static ads. At the same time, reach was increased by 20% with the same budget. In the male target group, the CTR on desktop was increased by 40%.
